Okay, I'm going to talk in 3rd person here, so bear with me:

 

(a.k.a. Dean L. Norton) is an artist with many artistic talents and outlets. He uses the many tools at his disposal to create the wide varieties of visual art you may see on this site, and the many other sites where his talent is found.

A refugee from Riverside, California, crack houses, brush fires, earthquakes and smog, DLNorton moved to the Denver area in search of better climes. With his wife Colleen and four dogs, he set out to make his dream come true...or possible. He's been published a few times in various independent comic books and other art publications. As far as college schooling goes, DLNorton holds an Associates Degree in web design from University of Student Debt.. er.. Phoenix, and a minor in Graphic Design from Riverside (CA) Community College.. blah, blah, blah..

 

(Turning 3rd Person OFF)

I'm still (17 years) employed full-time at a local Denver door manufacturing plant (since 2005), because being a "blue collar" was always my dream. (o__0)  .. and by that, I mean "not so much".. but what's done is done..

​

In 2019.. the COVID-19 lockdown settled in and my tolerance towards "people" in general has almost been non-existent. In September of 2020, I suffered a heat attack, not a bad one mind you, but a moderate one to remind me that I'm still mortal. I probably don't get out as much as I should, but now I have a new and exciting thing happening to me, ANXIETY!!  I do suffer from depression, but the anxiety is something new. I also had a kidney stone procedure done on me in May of 2021, really not a lot of fun.. but the meds were fun while they lasted..

I created more art and also, started getting into Minecraft more and more, mainly as a creative outlet and to keep me from going stark raving mad.. more on that later..

In July 2022, I turned 60. Not bitching, not bragging.. it just is..
